"I don't usually write reviews but decided that The Learning Base deserves a review so here goes. My daughter as well as my niece have been taught here from year 3 up to 5 for 11 Plus. Johirul has a lot of patience he really motivated the girls, as well as making learning fun. He was very supportive and really helpful even to me , answered any questions i had about the 11 plus. I have tried so many tuition places for my other children and never was as happy as i was with The Learning Base, i would recommend anyone who is interested in getting their child to do the 11 Plus to try this place".

"We have used many tuition centres in the past and this one is by far the very best . The staff are very friendly and always welcoming. The teachers are very friendly and professional and always have time to answer any queries you have, no matter how busy they are they always make time for you. They always make sure your child understands what they need to do for homework. A few of our children have been attending here for maths and English, the school noticed the huge improvement they made very quickly and moved the children to higher levels. The children love attending here. This Tuition centre is a lot more affordable than many other ones we have used in the past, where we have paid so much and not seen much difference. Our children enjoy attending here. We recommend The Learning Base to everyone."

"Johirul is a fantastic teacher, his teaching standards are very high and his methods of teaching are engaging and enjoyable. He does as much as he can to encourage children with their weaknesses. He has helped my daughter very much at the last stages, by running extra lessons to focus on specific topics.
My daughter loves attending lessons and feels as if she will miss the lessons after she sits the tests. I am considering continuing with lessons in the other classes that are on offer at The Learning Base.

Excellent GCSE science teacher
"Johirul Islam has been my science teacher for over a year now. Out of all the science teachers that I have had he is one of the best. This is mainly because his lessons are extremely engaging, fun and comprehensive. I believe that the difference between a, 'very good' and 'outstanding' teacher is that an outstanding teacher can create fun lessons out of very boring topics. Johirul does a great job of creating fun lessons from boring topics. He also does a great job of engaging the student so that the student don't miss anything from that certain topic. I personally believe that Johirul is a fantastic GCSE teacher. And that if you have a child you should definitely use is teaching expertise at the learning base."

"My 10 year old son has been attending the learning base for the last 2 years now. I have continued to send him there due to the passionate commitment Johirul, his tutor has shown towards the teaching of the children. He is always happy to and makes time to talk to the parent giving valuable feedback after each lesson about my child’s learning. Johirul will regularly give homework for my child ensuring regular practice takes place at home. My son also enjoys going to the lessons so Johirul is definitely doing something right. Dedicated and extremely professional centre
"I have had all of my children study at this centre during the last three years. They studied at 11+ and KS3 stages. Children were taught according to laid out scheme, pattern, and strategy and not just from whatever that was decided randomly. Every class had its work checked and homework given and shared with parents so they knew exactly how their child did on that day and what was being expected off of them. Staff was always very courteous and professional. Another great attribute was how thorough they worked with each and every child and motivated them with what worked for each child. I don't think anyone can find a better tuition centre anywhere in Birmingham even at a higher pay rate and with their affordable rates, this centre has to be one of the best tuition centres in the area. Don't just take my word for it, try it out yourself, and you won't be disappointed at all."

"I was recommended the learning base for my son through a few friends for my son. He attended tution before coming here but felt alot of pressure with the amount of work given and affected his concentration at school. Since attending learning base for the short few months he did. He had excelled well at school, passed his SATS with level 6 grade and was granted a scholoship at a private school and has continued to stay in higher tier in all subjects thanks to the foundation he built while attending the learning base. The input given from staff at this tuition is outstanding. They are very friendly and approachable.

"The Learning Base is an Excellent Tuition Centre. The staff are always very warm and welcoming. The service they provide is very affordable. I decided to try The Learning Base for my daughter after my sister had recommended them to me. My nephews attended and enjoyed it. My daughter who at the time had a home tutor was not making much progress. I was concerned so I thought I'll give them a try. My daughters levels were very low and she was going to sit her end of year 6 Sats test very soon, within a few weeks the school noticed an improvement in my daughters work and by the end of 3 months her teachers were so amazed at how much progress she made in such a short space of time they moved her up from a bottom level 2 to a high level 3!! I was so pleased and impressed with the progress she has made. My daughter was more confident and happy than before. I would definitely recommend this place..."
